INTRODUCTION

There are many schools of thought and as many different techniques applied to the management of animal behaviour. Through TRANSFORM methods and practices, animal owners are taught how to successfuly manage or correct their animal's behaviour in a positive, proactive manner through the use of communication techniques that are familiar to, and clearly understood by, their animal companion.

TRANSFORM holds an exceptional record of success that is a result of providing solutions based on an assessment of three primary factors:

• The animal
• It's owner(s)
• The lifestyle/environment in which the animal lives.

An objective correlation of these factors allows me to see all the dynamics of a situation. I can then accurately form a diagnosis and design a behaviour management program sensitive to the needs of the animal, as well as their human companion; and at a pace that is assured to achieve success.

Consultation and training sessions take place on site at the animal's home or wherever the problem behaviour occurs. For example; if a dog has aggression issues toward other dogs while out for a walk, the owner and their dog will be accompanied by their TRANSFORM trainer who can observe and assess the dog's behaviour and the owner's method of handling the dog's behaviour. The trainer can then demonstrate and coach techniques that will relieve the dog's aggressive behaviour and allow safe, friendly interactions with other dogs.

The most important facet of the process is being able to tutor and coach the animal's owner so that they clearly understand, and consistently apply, a behaviour management program. By following up with clients on a scheduled basis and being available every day to be contacted with questions, concerns and observations; We are able to keep a program on track or make adjustments necessary to how the animal (or it's human companion) is responding.
