PUPPY ASSESSMENT AND TRAINING.

Puppy assessment:

It is very important to chose a dog whose character and personality will match its new home and companions. We know that a Border Collie will flourish with human companions that enjoy an active, energetic lifestyle. However, if you enjoy your day hikes in the mountains, a Basset Hound may not be a best choice for a canine companion. While these are obvious character traits, there are many factors that will shape a puppies behaviour in the first seven or eight weeks spent with the litter; (though not as much as the following nine to sixteen weeks spent in their new home). Through a series of tests and observations, an evaluation report will be provided so that you can make an informed decision to adopt.

Personal, at-home, "Early, Puppy Training".

The TRANSFORM "Early, Puppy Training" program focuses on being proactive in establishing consistent and positive behaviour management. Early introduction of a learning structure that is positive and fun, yet with clear guidelines and limits, is certain to result in good communications thoughout an owner's relationship with their dog. This learning program includes socialization techniques which will ensure that a puppy, adolescent and eventually an adult dog, is always comfortable and self-controlled when meeting other dogs or people; in all situations, whether at home or out for a walk.
